RnL on CE

I am sure everyone is up to speed about the RnL on CE thingy, so what are your thought?

I honestly like the idea, so I am quite positive although ofc hesitant and doesnt expect anything at all .

I like that they move forward. I suppose HL2 engine is a dead end.
On the other hand, I would have preferred that they would have chosen Arma3 as their base. Arma has all the necessary realism aspects and functions built-in already, so all they would have to do is to make a map and 3d art for objects etc...

I am just worried that there are too many WW2 indie games going on CE2. Festung Europa, Traction wars, now RnL. It is already hard to find developers willing to spend spare time on a project, but with three more games going on CE2, it is going to be hard to choose. And RnL always lacked in publicity and lost much of its community during beta. It also seems only a few devs are remaining in their team.

Still, I am happy to see that they are going back to their roots, with the in-game map.

So I hope everything will work out fine for them, and hopefully all of us will meet again for some RnL on CE2!
