Tip of the day!

Well, thought it might be fun to write down some cool tips.

1. (In case you do not use "autobolt") With k98k, you will "autobolt" if you keep pressing down your fire key after shooting. You can also keep pressing down the reload key and it will bolt out round after round and then reload the gun =).

(no idea if I used the correct terms or if you understand what I mean lol)

I hadn't paid any attention that the bolting goes like that nowadays. Good to know.

2. you can enter commands in the console that will simulate you constantly pressing down a key. For instance if you enter +ironsights you will be in supersight unless you press sprint button or reload and such. Write -ironsights to "get out of the mode". Works also for things like +leanleft, +leanright and +duck etc.

3. How to get a different name in-game than your steam name without having to think about it:
(I have experimented a bit with this and haven't found any flaw with it)

First you need to have a cfg (config) file in your RnLBeta\cfg folder called "namechange" for instance. In it you just have the text:
setinfo name "YourDesiredName"

e.g. setinfo name "Snuffeldjuret [WIP]"
(you must have the " " around your chosen name)

Then you need to add (and create if it does not exist) this text to the autoexec config file in the same folder:

bind "CTRL" "exec namechange; +prone; wait; wait; wait; wait; wait; -prone"
bind "c" "exec namechange; +use; wait; wait; wait; -use"

and choose which keys you have or want to have for prone and use. If you experience trouble with prone:ing or use:ing just add another ";wait" to the lines. (I tested this to 160 ping or so, maybe it could cause trouble on higher ping.)

Anyway, what this does is that when you press use or prone key in-game you will change to your name chosen in "namechange.cfg" which happens rather regularly. I cannot imagine there is any risk for spam as I've spammed at least 30+ times during a few seconds and it was all good =).

4. Set your head-bobbing sliders to 0 and your rifle will shoot more accurately. This might change in the future if devs fix this.

Screen shaking goes away totally if you go prone and to SS and the sway is minimized as well in that position.
